Hey! I’m Heitor, a Computer Engineering student at USP and the person behind this blog.
By day I’m building VestCards, a flashcard platform I founded to help Brazilian students get into university. I also do research: my capstone project on distributed systems for drone swarms just got accepted at IEEE ISCC 2026.
What to Expect
Software development is where most of my time goes, so that’s where most of the writing will come from. Concepts I’m studying, problems I ran into and how I solved them, things I wish someone had explained better.
Side projects get their own space here too. I like building things, and I like writing about the decisions behind them. What worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do differently.
Career stuff will show up occasionally. Navigating the tech industry as a student, internships, research, the whole picture.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, stick around. It’s going to be a good one.
